But the Bangladesh liberation war was broke out into the all over the country after hearing the announcement. After fighting hard a lots of people sacrificed their life for the victory and  " 7 Bir Sreshtho
" has made a great contribution in the history.

As a result, Finally the Pakistani Armies surrendered on 16 December in 1971 to the Joint Liberation forces of Bangladesh freedom fighters and Indian Army headed by Lt. Gen Jagjit Singh Aurora (the Allied forces commander) in Dhaka. A. K Khondoker  Air vice Marshall represented the Bangladesh freedom fighters. Pakistan General A. A. K. Niazi (Commanding officer of the Pakistani Armed Forces) signed the surrender letter. As a result totally gained her victory in 16 December on 1971 after the long 9 month hard war with an unconditional surrender of west Pakistani army . At least 3 million people were martyred in this war.


Now this day is observed with joy and respect all the over the country  because this victory day marks the separation of East Pakistan ( Known as Bangladesh )   from west Pakistan (Present Pakistan ). In the morning, Thirty one Gun salutes in conducted. TV and radio stations broadcast their special programs . The leader of Bangladesh pays the tribute to the martyrs at national memorial. Whole country and all the TV channel and also radio stations palys patriotic songs. The main streets are decorated with the national flag.It is an important and memorable day in Bangladesh's  History and we can remember the born of Bangladesh by dint of this day.
